The winning reception design for Provender, a new property development at Bakers Quay in Gloucester Docks, has been announced following a competition between some of the best interior designers in the country.
The winning scheme for the impressive interior was created by Monica Lenore Designs, an award-winning firm based in Gloucestershire that offers innovative, bold and spectacular ideas for commercial and residential spaces.
Speaking of the impressive accolade, Monica said: ‘As soon as you walk through the entrance doors of Provender Mill, we wanted to create a space that reminded you of the history of the original building and connected you with your surroundings.
‘As important as history is to this design, we also wanted to create a reception space that reflected the upscale nature of the project. We wanted a modern and vibrant feel that mirrors the exciting developments happening in the surrounding community’.
A brand new development built on the footprint of the old Foster Brothers Oil and Cake Mill at Gloucester Docks, Provender encompasses 47 one and two-bed luxury waterside apartments, which are currently on the market.
Speaking of the building, Adrian Goodall of the developer said: ‘The building is now well advanced and we are looking for the reception area to be ready when Provender opens its doors in July 2018.’
