Mixing death and dinner this autumn, Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall will host a Dead Ringers! Murder Mystery evening, promising thrilling entertainment for budding detectives.
Welcoming wannabe Sherlocks on Friday 26 October 2018, the anticipated event will see guests racing to solve the mystery and find out whodunit – trying not to be too distracted by the delicious three-course meal.
There’ll be suspicion in the air but happy diners, thanks to an enticing menu with starters spanning spiced butternut squash soup; Pimm’s marinated melon with raspberry sorbet; and ham hock and pea terrine.
The choices of main encompass roast chicken supreme with red onion and thyme stuffing, and roast chicken gravy; seared salmon with crispy leeks and Champagne sauce; and wild mushroom gnocchi with rocket pesto.
For a decadent dessert, indulge in red berry Eton mess; sticky toffee pudding with stickier sauce; or lemon tart with raspberry sauce, to be followed tea and coffee.
