Complete with an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, lake with four boats and a croquet lawn, this property is a sports lover’s dream. Featuring 15 acres of stunning gardens, a multi-use billiard room which doubles up as a space for dining parties of as a cinema room, there’s plenty to keep big groups entertained. What’s more, there is a pottery and an art studio available for a supplement, along with a Wendy house to keep children busy in the gardens.


2. Springfield Country House

With beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, Springfield Country House in Rendcomb is a stunning manor house style property, where up to 10 guests can stay for £900 per night. With five bedrooms – all of which are en-suite – the house makes for a great option for large groups wanting to spend time both outside and in during their holiday.

Guests can make use of the massive two-and-a-half-acre garden, terrace, outdoor pool, sun-loungers and tennis court, walk through the glorious orchard or have a go on the trampoline. There is also the option of a private caterer available upon request for dinner parties, or those who fancy dinner without the washing up.


3. Poulton Hill Estate

This chateau style vineyard property is situated in the village of Poulton in the Cotswolds. The converted barn is surrounded by farmland and boasts immaculate lawns, a vineyard and a French fountain in the Cloister Garden. Guests can enjoy an organic breakfast of croissants, fresh fruit and eggs from the local farm. Catering is also available upon request for those after a stress-free holiday.

With prices starting at £850 per night, the house can host up to six guests, who can take advantage of the spacious open plan dining and sitting room with a log fire and the snug lounge upstairs; or access the private tennis court and gorgeous gardens. 4. Waters Edge 10, Malachite in South Cerney

Waters Edge is a unique collection of beautiful lodges, situated in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park in the village of South Cerney, which guests can rent out at £624 per night.

With fantastic views over the 28-acre lake and a large decking area, this lakeside lodge is perfect for a family staycation, or for those wanting a break from city life. Visitors can relax in the heated plunge pool with the illusion of being suspended over the water’s edge.

Guests can also make use of nearby country pubs, or try out water sports, fishing and nature trails within walking distance.


5. This Birlingham bungalow

Owned by a designer, Parsons Pleck is a spacious mid-century modern bungalow in Birlingham, perfect for those looking for a relaxing staycation or place for a family get together. Showcasing an outdoor pool, heated from May to September, there are also large glass sliding doors which overlook the wrap around deck, garden and fields beyond.

The property is listed for £700 per night, and can sleep up to 12 guests across six bedrooms. The modern interior of the home makes for a stylish stay, and guests can enjoy the television room and large games room, complete with a ping pong table and table football.


6. The Cotswolds Manor

Tucked away in a private estate in Somerford Keynes among acres of nature reserve, this picturesque property is perfect for those after an active holiday, with nearby opportunities to go biking and paddle boarding.

The manor house is priced at £945 a night, and can accommodate up to 12 guests with five bedrooms, four of which have private balconies. Double width windows showcase the breath-taking views over the lakes and guests can take full advantage of the natural setting with alfresco dining on the lakeside decking.

To give your stay that luxury feel, there is an onsite spa where guests can enjoy treatments and pools. A Sonos music system and home cinema also offers great entertainment for the whole family.


7. This stylish Cheltenham house

Suitable for up to sixteen guests with six bedrooms and three bathrooms, this statement house is located in the village of Prestbury. Boasting masses of space and even a glass atrium, the owner promises chic interiors which are both comfortable and luxurious.

For the added wow factor, the house provides a Sonos surround sound system, heated outdoor pool, and nine seat hot tub in a Japanese style garden. Prices start at £1,300 per night.


8. Ortolan Villa

Also in Somerford Keynes is the dreamy Ortolan Villa, which can house a maximum of eight guests in its four bedrooms. The outside area features a sunken hot tub and decked area perfect for a spot of outdoor dining or pre-dinner drinks with a view across Clearwater Lake.

Alternatively, there is a snug room kitted out with a 50-inch Plasma television screen for cosy nights in. Guests can also explore the onsite spa facility featuring an outdoor eco-pool and restaurant, Ballihoo, at their leisure.

Priced at £636 per night, guests will have access to tennis courts and the lakeside nature reserve which offers miles of walking trails for those who want to make the most of the outdoor opportunities.


9. The Coach House and Stables in Minchinhampton

The Coach House and Stables are two separate – but almost identical – cottages in Minchinhampton, ideal for two families to stay together whilst enjoying their own space. Sleeping eight in total across four en-suite bedrooms, the cottages come to £584 a night.

Guests can come together for alfresco dinners in the sheltered cobbled area of the fully renovated listed Cotswold stone building. Tennis courts, private courtyards and light and airy décor inside make for a relaxing and refreshing stay.

Close by is Minchinhampton Common, perfect for long leisurely walks or enjoying a game of golf. For horse lovers, the Coach House is situated just a stone’s throw from the Gatcombe and Badminton Horse trails.


10. Cotswolds Country House

Set in the charming village of Kingham near Chipping Norton, this decadent Cotswold stone home costs £653 per night. With enough space for eight guests with four bedrooms, the semi-detached house also boasts an outdoor swimming pool open from April to October.

Highlights of the grand interior include plush chaise lounges, a wood burner and a freestanding bath in the king-sized bedroom. If the house wasn’t enough, check out the quaint village of Kingham, offering pubs, a village shop and electric bike hire for guests to explore during their stay.


11. Reid Villa

This modern property in Clearwater is set on a huge private estate nestled into a nature reserve. From private terraces and balconies overlooking Somerford Lagoon to an open plan garden area. You won’t want to leave this beautiful villa.

Costing £673 per night and catering for seven guests with four bedrooms, there is plenty of entertaining space and a generous sitting room that leads onto a secluded decking area.


12. Contemporary Cotswolds chapel

Located in the heart of Malmesbury in Wiltshire, this converted chapel makes for an unforgettable stay in the Cotswolds. Priced at £650 and with enough room for 10 guests in five bedrooms – four of which are en-suite – this detached chapel is the perfect spot for large parties.

Inside features 10-foot stained glass windows, funky interior design throughout the house, oak pillars and velvet sofas. For warmer weather, there is a barbeque and chiminea in the generously sized courtyard, alongside stylish touches of fairy lights and potted plants.
