The Gloucester Cajun and Zydeco Festival is back for its 26th year in 2019, with a three-day line-up of performances guaranteed to draw in crowds from far and wide.

The longest running Cajun and Zydeco Festival in Europe, Gloucester Guildhall’s 2019 showcase promises to be nothing short of a three-day, non-stop Louisiana party – with a host of acclaimed acts on the bill for its milestone anniversary.

Comprising live music, dancing, workshops, and an atmosphere that’s become legendary, local music fans are in for a real treat on their doorstep, while the unique festival also attracts visitors from across the UK and beyond.

This year’s festival will be returning to Gloucester Guildhall from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 January 2019, and boasts an impressive line-up of internationally renowned artists, performing an eclectic blend of genres from traditional to contemporary.

Friday will welcome Swamp Rock DJs and Hogan's Heroes; while on Saturday revellers can see Boat Band, Rough Chowder and The Po Boys, as well as enjoying dance workshops.

Meanwhile, on Sunday there will be music from The Bayou Tapestry, Joli Blon, and The Zydeco Diamonds, promising a brilliant finish to the three-day showcase.

Injecting some fiery Southern sunshine into music lovers’ wet and windy January, catch the Gloucester Cajun and Zydeco Festival when it returns to the city in 2019.
