Soak up classical music with a difference when Stringfever brings its unique show to Stroud Subscription Rooms this March.

Taking place on Friday 8 March 2019, the family quartet is made up of brothers Giles, Ralph and Neal, and their cousin Graham, who perform music on string custom-built electric violins, viola and cello.

The fast-paced show sees the classically-trained musicians take on some of the best pop and classic tunes, including an impressive version of Ravel’s ‘Bolero’ that involves the whole quartet playing the cello at the same time.

Expect an engaging evening that’s peppered with style, charisma and humour, with comedian Paul Merton describing ‘their mix of music and comedy is so potent’.
