Gloucester Quays has announced that its annual Victorian Christmas Market has been cancelled for 2020, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Organisers have made the tough decision to cancel the popular event, which attracts thousands of local visitors and tourists each year.
But, with plans for its open-air ice rink set to go ahead, Gloucester Quays still hopes to deliver a sprinkle of festive cheer this Christmas.
There’s plenty of reasons to visit in the meantime, with a majority of the outlet’s stores and restaurants now reopened for business.
What’s more, the Orchard Street Markets are set to go ahead in September and October, now with additional dates in November and December too – so Christmas shoppers can still pick up some great gifts and festive food from local producers.
