People heading into the centre of Gloucester to enjoy a spot of festive shopping, will be able to park for free at two of the city’s car parks on three days throughout December.
On Thursdays 6, 13 and 20 December 2018, it’ll be free to park your car at the Eastgate Shopping Centre car park and the King’s Walk car park, as long as you arrive after 3pm.
Councillor Paul James, leader of Gloucester City Council, said: ‘Shopping locally is extremely important for the local economy and to maintain a healthy city centre with a mix of big retailers and independents.
‘Gloucester is a great place to do your Christmas shopping so please support your local traders at what is a crucial time of the year for them.’
For more information about late night shopping and for some great gift ideas, see the Christmas shopping guide.
