Gloucestershire Balloon Flight video

SoGlos went up, up and away for the inaugural Abercrombie & Kent hot air balloon flight over Gloucestershire, capturing some of the magnificent bird’s eye views.

On Friday 10 June 2011, luxury travel company Abercrombie and Kent launched its brand new hot air balloon from a tranquil early morning Pittville Park in Cheltenham – and SoGlos joined a basket of VIP guests invited to the maiden voyage.

The Abercrombie & Kent-branded balloon, being operated by local company Ballooning in the Cotswolds, soared into the sky and over Pittville Pump Room, before making is way over Cheltenham Racecourse, Sudeley Castle and Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway’s Toddington Station – taking in some breathtaking countryside along the way.
