Put your fitness to the test and support a worthwhile local charity by taking on Cheltenham’s Three Peak Challenge this summer, in aid of the Gloucestershire-based charity, Aim Up.
Taking place on Saturday 8 June 2024, the Three Peak Challenge will see fundraisers climbing a total of 22 miles as they conquer the heights of Cleeve, Crickley and Leckhampton Hills.
The self-guided route starts at Aim Up's HQ on Lansdown Parade and gives participants the chance to tackle the challenge at their own pace, with water refills and toilet facilities at the various check points on route.
As well as raising money for Aim Up — a fantastic charity which provides care, support and independent living opportunities for adults with disabilities, complex needs and health conditions — this year's challenge supports Paul Baker, soon to be Mayor of Cheltenham, in his fundraising efforts. 50 per cent of the total raised will be split between his four chosen charities — Aim Up, Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees, Friends of Sandford Parks and Caring for Communities and People — at the end of his year as Mayor.
