Designed to help children to learn to ride their bikes with confidence, a designated family cycling area will open this summer at Beechenhurst Lodge in the Forest of Dean.

As part of its Cycle Superstar Challenge family cycling campaign, The Forestry Commission is opening the children’s cycling area every Tuesday and Thursday between Thursday 26 July and Thursday 23 August 2018.

Parents can download and print the Cycle Superstar Challenge chart via forestry.gov.uk/cyclesuperstarchallenge to record children’s progress as they build their confidence on a bike. Events will include mini challenges and plenty of safe space for children to practice.
