Top UK ballet company, Birmingham Royal Ballet, returns to the Everyman Theatre with breath-taking performances of two new ballet commissions this May.

Designed to make ballet more accessible for families while still appealing to adults, the company will perform three shows across Friday 10 and Saturday 11 May 2019.

The first ballet performed in each show will be Peter and the Wolf, a new commission which blends classical ballet with more modern influences based on the fairy-tale by Sergei Prokofiev.

Seasons in Our World is the company’s second new ballet. Exploring the impact of the climate on communities, it features a new thrilling score by composer Cevanne Horrocks-Hopayian and choreography by three of the company’s dancers.

Described as the UK’s premier touring dance company, this is an unmissable opportunity to see the skill and versatility of world-class ballet with the whole family.
