Cowley Manor’s pristine grounds will be the stunning setting for two alfresco theatrical performances this summer, when the hotel plays host to two Theatre under the Stars events.

Being staged alongside Cowley Manor’s picturesque lake, Gloucestershire theatre-goers can enjoy two performances spanning Jane Austen’s Emma on Wednesday 18 July 2018; and The Three Musketeers on Wednesday 22 August 2018.

Jenny Wren Productions presents an adaptation of classic novel Emma complete with handsome suitors, romantic heroines and plenty of matchmaking.

Meanwhile Ian Kennedy Productions will perform riotous comedy The Three Musketeers, a story which leads audiences around France and promises hilarious entertainment with fast-paced action, physical comedy and quick wit.

As well as soaking up the sunshine, there will also be a chance to enjoy delicious treats with a barbecue, food and drinks available on both evenings.
