Everyman Theatre releases new brochure

Everyman Theatre has released its latest brochure, encompassing everything from West End hits and iconic musicals, to critically acclaimed plays and star-studded shows – not to mention its hugely popular annual pantomime.

Theatre fans can look forward to another packed calendar of plays, musicals, and family shows at Everyman Theatre, with its brand-new brochure now released.

Encompassing productions from May to December 2018, the programme offers something for all ages and tastes, promising another high calibre season at the favourite Cheltenham theatre.

Highlights include The Messiah starring Hugh Dennis and Lesley Garret which visits Cheltenham prior to the West End; Ian Hislop and Nick Newman 's new play Trial By Laughter; JB Priestley’s classic thriller An Inspector Calls; and a critically-acclaimed production of Shakespeare's Othello.

Meanwhile there’ll be plenty of music over the summer, with a great selection of one-night shows to take to the Everyman’s stage; the programme encompasses everything from One Night of Elvis and Material Girl: A Tribute to Madonna to Totally Tina and Dancing Queen – an action packed party night.

For younger audiences, Aladdin promises another spectacular family show, along with David Walliams' Awful Aunty; Gruffalo’s Child; and Dinosaur World Live, and numerous other family-friendly productions.

The Everyman’s chief executive, Mark Goucher said: ‘This season takes us until the end of the year when I am delighted to announce that Peter Duncan (he of Blue Peter fame) will be writing and directing a new production of Aladdin starring Gloucestershire’s very own Tweedy.

‘Tickets are already selling fast so please book early. And do take a look at all the exciting work we programme into our Studio Theatre and visit our Directors’ Lounge where you can have the full VIP experience before the show and during the interval. We look forward to welcoming you to your Everyman Theatre.’
