Presented by acclaimed company Flying Bridge and Olivier Award-winning producers Seabright Productions, Not About Heroes will deliver an unmissable show at The Barn Theatre this autumn.

Running from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 September 2018, the Fringe First-winning play follows the unique friendship between WWI poets Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon.

Following a meeting at Craiglockhart Hospital in 1917, the two iconic poets bonded over their mutual hatred of war and love of poetry; this show not only commemorates the centenary of the two meeting, but of the Armistice.

Not About Heroes stars Daniel Llewelyn Williams and Owain Gwynn as Siegfried Sassoon and Wilfred Owen respectively, with the former having already won a Best Actor award for his role in the play.

Hailed by British Theatre Guide as ‘compelling and superbly performed’, theatre goers are in for a brilliant play at Cirencester’s theatre this September.
