1. Club Tropicana at Everyman Theatre

Monday 8 to Saturday 13 April 2019

Club Tropicana at Everyman Theatre

Described as the feel-good musical of the year and spilling over with smash-hits from the 80s (think Culture Club, Cyndi Lauper, Depeche Mode and a-ha) Club Tropicana stars _The X-Factor_winner Joe McElderry alongside a host of small screen stars and a Sugababe in a vibrant summery show, which is set to make the Everyman Theatre’s audiences shimmy. Shoulder pads and blue eyeshadow optional.

2. Rain Man at Everyman Theatre

Tuesday 23 to Saturday 27 April 2019

Rain Man at Everyman Theatre

Based on the legendary Oscar-winning film with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman, the stage version of Rain Man sees two long-lost brothers embark on a journey across America. Starring soap stalwarts Paul Nicholls and Chris Fountain as Charlie and Raymond, and already gaining great reviews on this national tour, expect a poignant and tender stage experience at the Everyman Theatre.

3. Fly Eddie Fly: A New Musical at Everyman Theatre

Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 May 2019

Starring the Olympic ski-jumper himself, and making his stage debut no less, audiences can see the true story of local legend Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards on stage in the Everyman Theatre Company’s own production of Fly Eddie Fly. It’s 1988 and Great Britain has never had an Olympic ski-jumper. Step forward an unlikely man with a huge dream, cast iron nerves and milk bottle glasses – in this feelgood comedy musical.

4. Tom Gates Live on Stage at Everyman Theatre

Based on Liz Pichon’s exceptionally-popular children’s books, a brand-new production of Tom Gates Live on Stage is heading to the Everyman Theatre, during the May half term school holidays. Following the story of a boy who’s doing everything he can to avoid getting into trouble, but somehow manages to do just the opposite, families can expect a riotous stage adventure aimed at children 7 and above.

With a bohemian and barmy combination of hit men and corporate conspiracy, catch Dead Dog in a Suitcase when Kneehigh’s blazing production returns to the Everyman Theatre by popular demand – four years after it made its debut in Cheltenham. An incredibly inventive production, audiences can expect wit, wonder and weirdness (and a loud bang!) in this dynamic production.

6. Green Day’s American Idiot

Green Day’s American Idiot

Green Day fans, you’ll have the ‘time of your life’, when explosive rock musical American Idiot hits the Everyman Theatre stage in July, marking the 10th anniversary of the show that premiered on Broadway and has had two hit runs on the West End. Expect iconic tunes and a powerful storyline set in the post-9/11 Unites States.
