New SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards unveiled

Exciting news for local businesses, as the brand new SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards have just been unveiled – with nominations opening in January 2018.

Unveiled at last week’s #soglos10 anniversary party, the exciting new SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards will recognise and celebrate the very best lifestyle sector businesses and individuals in our amazing county, and nominations are set to open in January 2018.

The definite new awards will include categories for best restaurant, hotel, attraction, live entertainment venue, sporting venue, independent school, spa, event and festival through to best blogger, best instagrammer, best photographer and more.

There will be a really strong focus on ‘people’s choice’ rather than being decided by a panel of judges, there will be an exciting nomination and voting process, and winners will receive a host of editorial support, trophies, certificates and industry recognition. Our aim is for the SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards to become the Gloucestershire awards.

Please keep a lookout on SoGlos for when nominations open in January, and in the meantime there will have a number of opportunities available for businesses to get involved – from working with us on the awards event party, to sponsoring the awards as a whole and taking advantage of individual award category sponsorship. Get in touch to find out more.

James Fyrne, SoPublishing group publisher, commented: ‘We hope you’re as excited as we are about the new addition to SoGlos, and hope you’ll help make the first year of the awards a storming success.’
