Pit Kitchen at Todenham Manor Farm

Promising an unapologetically casual vibe and big flavours, Pit Kitchen is relocating its Middle Eastern-inspired foodie hub to Todenham Manor Farm in the Cotswolds this May 2024, with a vision to bring the best bits of East London’s buzzing food scene to a beautiful Cotswold setting.

With doors open to hungry foodies from Wednesday 8 May 2024, the new site is set to be a rustic but comfortable affair, built using recycled materials and catering to more guests than ever, seating 100 diners under cover, as well as accompanied by expansive countryside views stretching across the Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire borders past Moreton-in-Marsh.

The Black Horse Inn at Cranham

Part of Cranham life for hundreds of years, having first opened at the beginning of the 17th century, The Black Horse Inn has been saved by the Gloucestershire community, who collectively raised a whopping £260,900 to keep it open.

With the inn now fully open following eight months of renovations, visitors can expect traditional features and a warm atmosphere, paying homage to The Black Horse's rich history, as it starts a brand-new chapter as an independently run, community owned pub — as well as cracking food and drinks menus. Plus, it's only a stone's throw away from the popular walking route, the Cotswold Way.

Opening from Wednesday 15 May 2024, the new eatery promises visitors a relaxed dining experience in a vibrant open plan kitchen and restaurant, serving light lunches, traditional afternoon tea and dinner — all featuring fresh, local produce.

Promising a wide range of pressed favourites, the new store aims to continue providing a quality service and collection to music lovers in and around the Forest and beyond.
