The Montpellier Chapter celebrates first birthday

News – Popular Cheltenham hotel, restaurant and spa destination The Montpellier Chapter celebrated its first birthday this week, alongside miracle baby Bella Seyforth.

Following a competition to find a boy or girl born on the same day The Montpellier Chapter launched one year ago, the popular Cheltenham haunt marked the milestone with a birthday celebration for miracle baby Bella Seyforth this week.

Over a dozen families entered the competition and had to give a reason why they deserved to win, but after hearing Bella’s story from mum Victoria Seyforth, she was the obvious choice.

Following three heartbreaking years trying for a baby and being diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, Victoria and her husband finally conceived after an operation and gave birth to their beautiful baby Bella on Monday 29 November 2010 – the same day The Montpellier Chapter first opened its doors to members of the public.

‘We haven’t stopped smiling since. She has completed our world and deserves the best’, said Victoria. ‘We were over the moon when we found out we’d won Bella’s first birthday party at The Montpellier Chapter. We really wanted to make a special celebration of the day,’ she continued.

Bella was joined by 13 of her friends and their parents for a birthday party in The Montpellier Chapter Restaurant, where they enjoyed a traditional high tea with all the trimmings – with the venue decked out with balloons and decorations to mark the occasion in true style.

Spokeswoman Anne Allin, from The Montpellier Chapter, said: ‘A first birthday is always a massive occasion for any family. It is a great milestone and one that is remembered forever. We are delighted to have chosen Bella to host her first birthday party at the hotel. It provides a great opportunity for both her and her family plus our team to celebrate all the fabulous goings on of the past 12 months.’
