Devon from the Forest of Dean is supporting Anne Marie at her headline set at Forest Live on Friday 5 July 2024.

Forest of Dean musician Devon Cassells is opening for singer Anne Marie, when she headlines Forest Live at Westonbirt Arboretum in July 2024.

Performing and releasing tracks under the name 'Devon', he is backed by a band consisting of two other musicians, brothers Josh and Adam Baynham on guitar and drums — both also from the Forest of Dean.

To date, Devon has released a number of singles, as well as a seven-track debut album, Somewhere in Nowhereland, and has received plays on national radio stations.

Seeing success since first hitting the stage as a teenager on the local music circuit, Devon's single I DON'T WANT 2 B UR FRIEND has over eight million streams on Spotify and his headline Local Normal People Tour saw him play to crowds in Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, London and a sold-out date in Bristol.

As well as supporting Anne Marie, the Forest of Dean native is set to play a variety of festivals including Golden Touch in Portsmouth and Wychwood Festival in Cheltenham — with a slot supporting Circa Waves coming up on Sunday 28 April 2024 at Gloucester Guildhall.

Devon's newest mix tape, NORMAL LOCAL PEOPLE pt 2 was released in January 2024 and is available to stream on all platforms.

Tickets to Forest Live 2024 are available now via the Forest Live website.
