Thomas the Tank Engine in the Forest of Dean
Thomas the Tank Engine and his locomotive friends are timetabled to make some special appearances in the Forest of Dean in 2010, at the Dean Forest Railway.
Thomas the Tank Engine, the cheeky blue train which has delighted children for decades, will be returning to the Dean Forest Railway in 2010.
Thomas will be puffing and panting as he pulls passengers along the Forest Line in Toad the brake van and Daisy the carriage, for the storytelling trips from Norchard to Parkend. Wilbert, Pannier, Baby Uskmouth, Daisy the Diesel and Basil the open top bus will also be on hand to help the little engine with passenger pleasure trips that have proved extremely popular in the past.
While Thomas is undoubtedly the main attraction, there will also be a host of other activities to keep the children entertained including a roundabout, miniature steam railway, Punch & Judy shows, face painting and Thomas video shows, all included in the price. Not to mention photograph opportunities with Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt the Fat Controller.
