Thomas the Tank Engine, the cheeky blue train which has delighted children for decades, is making his a return visit to the Dean Forest Railway this summer, and you can catch a ride with him between Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June for three days of family fun.

Thomas will be puffing and panting as he pulls passengers along the Forest Line in Toad the brake van and Daisy the carriage, for the storytelling trips from Norchard to Parkend. Wilbert, Pannier, Baby Uskmouth, Daisy the Diesel and Basil the open top bus will also be on hand to help the little engine with passenger pleasure trips that have proved extremely popular in the past.

While Thomas is undoubtedly the main attraction, there will also be a host of other activities to keep the children entertained including a round-about, miniature steam railway, Punch & Judy shows, face painting and Thomas video shows, all included in the price. Not to mention photograph opportunities with Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt the Fat Controller.
