Summer in Gloucester

Spanning a fortnight of fun and largely free events for all ages, Summer in Gloucester is set to prove a seasonal highlight for the city.

From traditional carnivals, all day music concerts and open-air cinema screenings to building sandcastles at the urban beach and watching gob-smacking fireworks displays, Summer in Gloucester is set to be a sizzling makeover of the annual Gloucester Festival.

While Marketing Gloucester, the organisers of the celebrations, say that there are due to be more than 30 experiences taking place in the city throughout June, July and August, the very first Summer in Gloucester festival sees nine signature events particularly capture the imagination.

Gloucester Carnival Procession
