SoGlos.com has teamed-up with the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham to offer five theatre-loving readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to see Dinnerladies, when the stage version of Victoria Wood’s popular television sitcom makes its Gloucestershire debut on Monday 8 March 2010.

Following the reluctant love story of Bren and Tony, originally played by Victoria Wood and Andrew Dunn, the duo are egged on by their work colleagues, Dolly, Jean, Twinkle and Anita. Making frequent appearances in the play are caretaker Stan, Phillipa from Human Resources, secretary Jane and Bren’s truly dreadful mother, Petula.

The television programme was voted ninth in the all-time list of favourite sitcoms – a remarkable feat for a programme where only 16 episodes were ever made. Fans of Dinnerladies will no doubt be leaping at the chance to see the series played out live on stage at The Everyman.

Tickets for Dinnerladies at The Everyman cost between £10 and £25, available from the Everyman box office on (01242) 572573 and by visiting everymantheatre.org.uk.
