The work of five artists, working in the mediums of ceramics, textile, glass, felt and jewellery, will be on display at the New Brewery Arts latest exhibition Transitions, in Cirencester from Saturday 7 March to Sunday 3 May 2009.
All enthusiastically seizing the brief to create work that reflects how it feels to be a mid-career artist, the work of textile artist Cas Holmes, felt maker Deborah Roberts, glass artist Jo Newman, ceramicist Loretta Braganza and jeweller Mizuko Yamada highlights various ‘transitions’ that each maker went through – both in their craft practice and their career.
