Puppies named after Stroud Brewery beers

A local beer enthusiast has taken his devotion to the drink to a whole new level, naming his English Springer Spaniel puppies after six beers from the award-winning Stroud Brewery.

Beer fan and breeder, Neil Turner, has demonstrated his love of local brews in unique style, choosing six paw-some puppy names for his new English Springer Spaniels.

Born recently from his bitch Ruby, Neil’s chosen names for the six pups have been inspired by his love for Stroud Brewery and friendship with its owner Greg Pilley, with each dog now sharing their name with one of its award-winning beers.

Sure to get the stamp of approval from fellow beer lovers, the Springer Spaniels are called Alederflower, Twinkle, Teasel, Redcoat, Budding and Five Valleys, offering an adorable homage to Stroud Brewery.

Having recently paid a visit to their namesake brewery, the gorgeous puppies remain a tail-wagging tribute to the independent business and its quality, organic beers.
