Late Summer Open Day at Badminton Estate

Take the final opportunity of the year to soak up the visual delight of Badminton Estate gardens during its Late Summer Open Day this September 2023.

As we head towards the end of the summer season, take the chance to wander the beautiful gardens at Badminton House on Sunday 3 September 2023.

Located in the verdant South Gloucestershire countryside, Badminton House is home to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort and only opens its grounds to the public three times a year - making the opportunity particularly special.

Visitors are invited to soak up the last of the stunning garden's summer glory, with the chance to explore the grounds and the walled garden, with an archway adorned with flourishing flowers, or take a leisurely stroll through the peaceful south garden with water features and luscious hedges.

Horticultural fans can also take the time to appreciate the last summer blooms in the formal beds designed by landscape architect Russell Page and Francois Goffinet.

What’s more, visitors will have the chance to pick up plants and flowers from a variety of stalls. Refreshments will be available to purchase including cream teas inside the Badminton Kitchen or you can bring your own picnic.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the private gardens, but can go into the park at Badminton on a short lead.
