History's most notorious lovers are on the run and heading to Cheltenham

Starring Alex James Hatton and Katie Tonkinson the criminally good musical, Bonnie & Clyde, will be taking the Everyman Theatre by storm in July 2024.

Following two hell-raising seasons in London's West End, Gloucestershire audiences have the chance to see Alex James Hatton and Katie Tonkinson star in Bonnie & Clyde at Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre, in July 2024.

Winner of Best New Musical at the WhatsOnStage Awards 2023, the show follows two small-town kids from the middle of nowhere who became the biggest folk heroes in all America. 

Running from Tuesday 9 to Saturday 13 July 2024, Newsies and Heathers favourite, Alex James Hatton, and Katie Tonkinson from Bat Out of Hell will star as the notorious lovers; joined by Hollyoaks' Daisy Wood-Davis as Blanche; and The Cher Show and Rock of Ages star Sam Ferriday as Buck; with The Voices' Jaz Ellington as The Preacher. 

Nate Landskroner from Waitress and Heathers will play the role of Clyde at midweek matinee performances — with Lauren Jones playing the alternate Bonnie.

Garnering a mass following — much like the infamous couple themselves — the award-winning production features music by Tony nominee Frank Wildhorn; lyrics by Tony and Oscar winner Don Black; a book by Emmy Award nominee Ivan Menchell; as well as directed and choreographed by Nick Winston.
