The Christmas Day swim at Cheltenham's Sandford Parks Lido is back for 2022, where brave locals are invited to get their cossie on for a fun, festive dip before their Christmas dinner.
With the pool temperature expected to be between four and seven degrees, organisers are encouraging those who take part to only swim one width of the pool - but don't let that put you off, as the opportunity only comes around once a year and makes for an unforgettable Christmas Day activity!
The annual event is free to attend with donations to the Lido gratefully received.
The swim starts at 11am and lasts until 11.30am, giving participants plenty of time to work up an appetite for their turkey with all the trimmings.
Swimmers must book their tickets to the Christmas Day swim online in advance, but spectators don't need to book a ticket - just turn up!
The Lido encourages anyone brave enough to be getting into the pool to arrive from 10.15am to check in, with gates opening at 10.50am.
