Meditation, Dru Yoga, Egyptian Belly Dance and more will all form part of The Isbourne Holistic Centre’s upcoming taster week, featuring 20 sessions to try out for free.

Cheltenham’s popular Isbourne Holistic Centre will once again be opening its doors to locals for a week-long bill of free taster sessions from Monday 7 to Sunday 13 January 2013 – offering them another chance to experience a flavour of the unique centre’s diverse range of courses, without the financial commitment.

Therapeutic exercise and movement facilitator Jo-Anne Hale will be getting the Taster Week underway on Monday with Active Balance from 12pm; a new exercise course designed to improve balance and build bone density, followed by the chance to get a wellbeing boost through playful yoga exercises in Laughter Yoga with Kate Sharp from 7pm.

Then from 7.20pm, the Cheltenham Healing Group will be offering an antidote to the stresses of daily life, before Kate Sharp returns at 7.30pm for a fun-filled Imaginative Writing session.

On Tuesday, Susie Evans will be leading A New Energy Experience at 10.30am, with Karan Walsh’s Dru Yoga running alongside and then again from 6.30pm, hoping to de-stress and free up that blocked energy locals no doubt built up over the festive period.

There’s further chance to relax with Mary Pearson’s Meditation to Calm the Mind, Relax the Body and Feed the Spirit and Dr Lesley Roberts’ Meditation for Beginners / Returners sessions, also taking place on Tuesday from 6pm and 6.30pm respectively, before Dr Roberts returns at 7.15pm for an hour-long creative session entitled The Artist’s Way.

Lesley Hodges will be leading Meditation for Beginners on Wednesday from 12.30pm, followed by Kate Collier’s Exploring Symptoms of Ill Health through Constellations at 7pm and the chance to test your voice in Nina Chandler’s Healing Song Circle from 7.15pm.

Jo-Anne Hale will return to relieve some tension and relax the minds of those attending her Mindful Movement session at 2pm on Thursday, while aspiring dancers can try out Egyptian Belly Dance with Ann Blagden at 6pm, followed by a How Do You Do? session with Toby Negus at 7pm.

From 6.30pm on Friday, James D’Angelo will be hoping to Awaken the Chakra Energies through Sound, before Saturday sees Abi Holgate help locals feel healthier and happier in Ignite Your Life at 10am and Linda Gillatt prepare expectant mothers for birth in her Labour of Love session at 11am.

And drawing the Taster Week to a close on Sunday from 11.30am will be Lois Hastings with Learning from the Past – Looking to the Future, in which she explores techniques for reflection to gain a fresh perspective on your pathway through life.
