Sibling Gin is hosting its first cocktail networking evening at Gloucester Food Dock, this May 2024.

May is gearing up to be one of the busiest months of the year in Gloucestershire's business calendar so far. Not least because many of you will be attending the Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards in Stroud, plus a whole host of other exciting events, including Sibling Gin's first ever cocktail networking evening.

Boost your career confidence workshop at the Isbourne in Cheltenham

Launching May's business diary dates with an advice event on Wednesday 1 May 2024, Kate Bishop Coaching is hosting 'Overcome your imposter syndrome in business' — a workshop to show Gloucestershire businesspeople how they can improve their confidence and overcome imposter syndrome.

Starting at 5.30pm at The Isbourne wellbeing centre in Cheltenham, drinks will be served on arrival, with the event kicking off at 6pm until 8pm. Tickets are free and via The Isbourne website — early booking is advised as places are limited.

Cocktail networking evening with Sibling Gin at Gloucester Food Dock

In a first for Cheltenham-based cult gin brand, Sibling Distillery, its much-anticipated inaugural networking evening takes place at Our House Bar at Gloucester Food Dock on Thursday 9 May 2024 from 5pm to 7.30pm.

Co-hosting with Hey Pesto, an award-winning catering company from Churchdown, cocktails and bowl food are on offer, while a relaxed but structured networking session takes places. Businesses from all industries are invited along, with tickets for £12 available via the Sibling Distillery website.

Women in business health event at Leonardo Hotels in Cheltenham

Celebrating women in business and exploring how they can enjoy good health even while working at the top of their game, Coaching by Alannah discusses the direct correlation between a nutritious diet, a healthy body and success in business at this unique event on Friday 10 May 2024.

The all-day extravaganza starts at 9am at Leonardo Hotels in Cheltenham, and includes an exciting programme, with coaching sessions and seminars from a health and nutrition coach and a menopause specialist, and much more. Tickets cost £149 and include a buffet lunch, refreshments, parking, a hotel stay discount and 30 days of coaching after the event.

Business clinic with the Cotswold Collective near Chipping Norton

On Tuesday 15 May 2024, the Cotswold Collective — a membership group for businesses and individuals that celebrates and promotes the best of the Cotswolds — is hosting a business clinic event at the gorgeous Cotswold Retreat near Chipping Norton.

Taking place from 10am to 12.30pm, experts are leading business talks and advice 'surgeries' such as a mini branding exercise, an Instagram audit and a managing stress at work session. Attendees can network and connect with other local businesses in a beautiful rural location, with refreshments available too. Tickets cost from £27.50 and are available from Eventbrite.

Drinks social with the Business Growth Network in Cheltenham

The Business Growth Network is hosting its bi-annual drinks networking session on Tuesday 15 May 2024, from 5pm to 7pm at Chelsea Brasserie in Cheltenham. Whether a member or a visitor, the evening offers the chance to build business relationships and expand knowledge all while sampling drinks and canapés.

Tickets for members are free while visitors pay £20 — sign up via the Business Growth Network website.

Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards 2024

SoGlos's annual celebration of lifestyle businesses across the retail, hospitality, education, culture, performing arts and health and wellbeing sectors takes place on Thursday 16 May 2024 this year, from 6pm.

Coming live from the fabulous Sub Rooms in Stroud, the awards have grown to become the biggest celebration of the county's lifestyle sector, with this year marking the event's seventh wonderful year. Businesses in the final can expect an exciting night with lots of cheer and championing of the best of Gloucestershire!

Business owners' growth and protection seminar at Ellenborough Park in Cheltenham

More Wealth Management and HCR Law are joining forces to bring a workshop to Gloucestershire business owners and directors, offering insights into a range of topics that will help them to grow and manage their business more effectively.

Business breakfast at Cheltenham Racecourse

With a view of one of the most famous jump racecourses in the UK, The Jockey Club is hosting a business breakfast bringing the world of sport together with businesses and charities on Tuesday 21 May 2024.

With more details to be released soon, you can expect breakfast, networking and speakers — with everyone who attends receiving a free race ticket. The event runs from 8.30am to 10.30am, with tickets available on The Jockey Club website. 

Dragon's Den-style pitching workshop with the Growth Hub in Cheltenham

An after-work event kicking off at 6pm on Thursday 23 May 2024 at the chic Urban Fox bar in Montpellier, The Growth Hub in Cheltenham is putting on one of its popular 'practice your pitch' events, aimed at entrepreneurs just getting started in business. 

Each participant will be given a five-minute slot to present their pitch, after which you'll receive constructive feedback from a panel of experts, hone your pitching skills and expand your network by connecting with potential investors and fellow entrepreneurs.
