Blondie is set to play a unmissable outdoor concert at Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury this summer, on Sunday 20 June 2010, and tickets are on sale now.

The New York punk-pop band led by Debbie Harry will be attracting fans from across Gloucestershire and beyond to the Forest Tour’s latest concert, with tickets on sale directly from ticketmaster.co.uk.

Described by organisers as ‘one of the most significant bands of the popular music era,’ Blondie’s genre-crossing material includes hit singles ‘Picture This’, ‘Sunday Girl’ and ‘Hanging On The Telephone’ for starters.

With more than 20 years on the music scene, and more than 40 million album sold, the number 1 songs fans will be singing along to at the Westonbirt Arboretum gig could also include ‘Heart Of Glass’, ‘Atomic’, ‘Call Me’, ‘The Tide Is High’ and ‘Maria’.

The Gloucestershire gig is set to follow the release of Blondie’s new album this spring, the band’s first in six years.
