Forestry Commission Live Music concert announced in Gloucestershire.

Fronted by the exuberant showman Roy Stride, Scouting For Girls’ gig at Westonbort Arboretum will take place on Sunday 19 June 2011, with tickets expected to sell-out.

While fans will need little introduction, the band’s eponymous debut album generated a clutch of infectious hits, including ‘She’s So Lovely’, ‘Heartbeat’, ‘It’s Not About You’ and ‘Elvis Ain’t Dead’, all becoming regular radio tunes that Westonbirt’s crowd will no doubt be singing-along with in full force.

This year’s second album, Everybody Wants To Be On TV, has delivered more pop anthems, with catchy hits including ‘Famous’, ‘Don’t Want To Leave You’, ‘Take A Chance On Us’ and the number one single ‘This Ain’t A Love Song’.

The summer concert at the aptly ‘scouty’ Gloucestershire woodland is sure to be one of Westonbirt’s liveliest.
