Olly Murs concert at Westonbirt Arboretum

Olly Murs will be playing Westonbirt Arboretum in the Cotswolds this summer, as part of the Forestry Commission’s Forest Live concert series.

This year’s Westonbirt Arboretum concert line-up keeps getting better and better, with the announcement Olly Murs will be taking to the stage on Sunday 23 June 2013 set to make plenty of hearts skip a beat in the county.

Indeed, organisers say the success Olly Murs has experienced over the past four years in nothing short of phenomenal, including the release of three multi-platinum selling albums: Olly Murs in 2010, In Case You Didn’t Know in 2011 and Right Place Right Time in 2012.

The latter shot to the top of the album chart immediately on release, giving the cheeky musician the biggest week-one sales by a male artist in 2012.

Olly also managed the ‘rare feat’ of being top of the album and singles chart simultaneously when ‘Troublemaker’ featuring Flo Rida hit the top spot for a second week.

Other chart hits the Westonbirt Arboretum crowds can expect to be singing along to include ‘Heart Skips A Beat’, ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’, ‘Busy’, ‘Dance With Me Tonight’ and ‘Oh My Goodness’.
