From scorching temperatures bringing the county to a virtual standstill, to downpours reminiscent of those Gloucestershire experienced two years ago, the month of July 2009 has certainly brought its meteorological ups and downs.

Regardless of the weather, SoGlos.com’s ever growing band of contributing photographers have once again captured the county on film – or digital memory stick, to be more precise – with everything from fields of lavender and line caught fish to eagle owls and celebrity ghost hunters making the cut of 31 photos for this month’s gallery.
