Making a magical start to the Christmas season, The Nursery at Miserden are hosting everything from wreath-making classes to children's craft workshop this Christmas.

Sing your heart out to classic Christmas carols, try your hand at wreath making and even meet Albert the donkey in a truly Christmassy collection of events at The Nursery at Miserden.

Sprinkling seasonal magic this December, The Nursery at Miserden has something for Christmas-loving children and excited adults too, there’s even the chance to pick a perfect Christmas tree.

Christmas wreath making at The Nursery at Miserden


Teaming up with the talented Sarah Champier from The Cotswold Flower Company, The Nursery at Miserden will host a wreath workshop on Monday 26 November 2018 and Monday 10 December 2018 from 10am to 1pm.

With all materials provided, the workshop cost £65 and gives seasoned crafters and novices the chance to create their very own festive piece to hang at home.

Keep the kids entertained with a free Christmas crafting session on Sunday 9 December 2018 from 10am to 3pm. Expect a selection of marvellous materials to create candle holders, handmade hanging Christmas trees and even Christmas posies using foraged foliage from around Miserden.


Festive weekend at The Nursery at Miserden


Cranham Handbell Ringers at The Nursery at Miserden

Festive spirit will be in the air on Saturday 15 December 2018 from 3pm when the Cranham Handbell Ringers play their very own Christmas classics in The Garden Café. Promising the perfect chance to sip on a glass of mulled wine, the handbell ringers will be performing festive favourites as part of The Nursery’s Festive Weekend.


Cranham Village Choir at The Nursery at Miserden

Sparkling lights will set the scene for the free seasonal sing-song performed by Cranham Village Choir on Sunday 16 December 2018. Nestle down in front of the log burners in the glasshouse café and enjoy Christmas songs from the choir.


Albert the donkey at The Nursery at Miserden

On Sunday 16 December 2018, visitors can meet Albert the donkey who will be continuing the festive fun. Have a guess how many carrots are in his sack to win a tasty hot chocolate and a delicious slice of cake.
