'Poppy Fields' is an immersive light and sound installation from the world-renowned Luxmuralis, transforming every inch of Gloucester Cathedral into a piece of live art.
Designed to commemorate the first and second world wars, the installation features evocative artworks projected across the cathedral, accompanied by snippets of recorded poetry read by Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne.

'Poppy Fields' is at Gloucester Cathedral from Friday 17 to Saturday 25 October 2025, with first entry at 6.15pm, last entry at 8.45pm and the event ending at 9.30pm.
How much are tickets to 'Poppy Fields' at Gloucester Cathedral?
Standard tickets cost £9.50 per adult and £4.50 per child aged five to 16.
There are a limited number of premium experiences, including access to exclusive spaces and a drink, for £25 per adult and £15 per child.
Gloucester Cathedral is also extending a 20 per cent discount on all ticket types to serving UK military personnel and veterans, with discount codes available to claim by emailing reception@gloucestercathedral.org.uk.
