A gripping murder mystery filled with twists, chilling suspense and wickedly dark humour is heading to Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre in September 2025, with the arrival of Murder at Midnight.

Prepare for a killer night out at the Everyman Theatre this September 2025 as Murder at Midnight takes to the stage, showcasing a deliciously twisted crime caper that will have you on the edge of your seats until the very end.

The new production is directed by Torben Betts and produced by the award-winning Original Theatre whose previous shows include the acclaimed The Mirror Crack'd by Agatha Christie.

This time, it’s New Year’s Eve in a quiet corner of Kent and a killer is in the house…

With one house, seven suspects and a murder at midnight, the audience meets Jonny ‘The Cyclops’ – the notorious gangster; his glamorous wife; his trigger-happy sidekick; his mum – who’s seeing things; her very jittery carer; plus, a vicar who’s hiding something; and a nervous burglar dressed as a clown.

Throw in a suitcase full of cash into the mix, along with a stash of deadly weapons and one infamous unsolved murder… what could possibly go wrong?

Running from Tuesday 23 to Saturday 27 September 2025, audiences can expect to be captivated by a star-studded cast including Heartbeat's Jason Durr; Coronation Street's Susie Blake; Max Bowden — best known as Ben Mitchell in Eastenders; and Waterloo Road star Katie McGlynn.

Please note, this show is suitable for ages 14 and above.
