Celebrate Jane Austen's 250th birthday at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre, this July 2025.

Travel back in time to Regency England this summer to celebrate Jane Austen's 250th birthday when a new adaptation of the classic novel, Sense and Sensibility, appears on stage at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre.

Running from Wednesday 23 to Saturday 26 July 2025, audiences will watch as the story of the Dashwood sisters Elinor and Marianne unfolds.

Forced to leave their beloved home in Sussex the pair relocate to rural Worcestershire, where they navigate a new life and a series of romantic encounters.

Adapted and directed by Paul Milton, spot Austen's well-loved characters: the reserved Edward Ferrars, gentlemanly Colonel Brandon, unbelievably handsome John Willoughby and many more, with Worcester Repertory Company’s version remaining true to the original story while adding the occasional twist and turn.
