Gloucestershire wrestling fans are in for a real treat this May 2025, as South West Wrestling (SWW) returns to Cheltenham — bringing epic takedowns, huge finishers and fantastic fun for all the family.
Storming into Leisure at Cheltenham on Sunday 25 May 2025, SWW Sundaes presents its extravagant showcase of wrestling talent, featuring the King of the Beasts, Jim Diehard and the UK's littlest wrestler, 'the underdog with a heart and fighting spirit like no other', Little Legs Murphy.
But the highlight of the show is a thrilling rumble that sees 20 keen competitors enter the ring, creating total chaos until only the best remains to claim victory.
Established in Gloucestershire in 2018, South West Wrestling was created by former pro Pete Bainbridge, who made his wrestling debut at a packed Bristol Beacon in 1986 — at just 14-years-old.
Going on to become a three-time European champion by the age of 17, he still holds the record for being the youngest wrestler to ever appear on ITV's World of Sport and through SWW, he infuses both traditional eras with the fresh and exciting wrestling ideas of today to bring entertainment to venues across the country.
Suitable for all ages, the rip-roaring event promises an electric atmosphere, with the opportunity to meet the SWW stars, grab exclusive merchandise and cheer and jeer along while enjoying a sweet treat or two.
Tickets to SWW Sundaes at Leisure at Cheltenham cost £10 for general admission, £15 for ringside VIP — where you can get up close and personal to all the action — and you can save with family tickets for £35.
