Cheltenham's Regent Arcade is inviting shoppers to see, smell, hear, touch and taste Christmas this festive season, with A Sense of Christmas bringing everything from interactive craft workshops, gift-wrapping services and even the chance to meet Santa to the shopping centre.
What Christmas events are happening at Regent Arcade Shopping Centre?
Regent Arcade has lots of special visitors stopping by this festive season, encouraging families to See the Magic – with a gingerbread man on Saturday 29 November from 11am until 2.20pm; festive stilt walkers on Saturday 6 December from 11am until 1.30pm; roller-skating elves on Saturday 13 December from 11am until 1.20pm; and Santa and Mrs Claus every day from Friday 19 to Monday 22 December 2025 from 11am until 1.20pm.
Smell the Season invites crafty shoppers to have a go at making their own fragranced Christmas decorations to take home on Saturday 6 December between 11am and 3pm; while Hear the Joy fills the centre with jolly Christmas music as community choirs perform throughout the day on Sunday 7 December to keep everyone entertained while they shop.
To help out with the wrapping and raise money for Cheltenham charity Caring for Communities and People, shoppers can stop by the gift wrapping station to get some of their presents wrapped for them and make their own Christmas cards as part of Touch the Tradition, taking place every day from Monday 8 to Sunday 21 December 2025 from 11am to 3pm.
Then Taste the Festivities gets visitors into the festive spirit with free mince pies and non-alcoholic mulled wine available on Saturday 13 December 2025 from 11am until 3pm.
And if you can't make it to the centre to meet Santa in-person, Santa's Inbox gives children a chance to send a digital letter and get a special reply from the big man himself – just visit regentarcade.co.uk/santas-inbox.
How much do Christmas events at Regent Arcade Shopping Centre cost?
Regent Arcade's Christmas events are all free to attend, though shoppers are encouraged to make a donation to CCP per gift they have wrapped.
