What to expect from Pride in Nature at Slimbridge Wetland Centre?
Pride in Nature at Slimbridge Wetland Centre encourages visitors to learn about and celebrate the diversity of the natural world through an inspiring programme of activities.
Head out on a Queer Ecology Walk with ecologist, Connor Butler, to discover the surprising life cycles of plants and animals, or go at your own pace on the self-led Rainbow Trail scavenger hunt to find all the colours of the rainbow in Slimbridge's spectacular wetland environment.
Hear the story of The Rainbow Flamingo from Catherine Emmett's heart-warming children's book with Drag Queen Story Time; stop by the Art Hub to make a pair of colourful paper wings to wear with pride as you explore; or bust a move in the silent disco, where the outdoors becomes the dance floor.
There's also Waterside Yoga on Sunday morning, encouraging visitors to reconnect with nature as they, and the plants and animals around them, wake up for a new day.
