The Gentlemen's Run Club also hosts its first meet of the year on Sunday 25, with a run for all abilities followed by coffee at The Scandinavian Coffee Pod, where the run starts from at 9am.

Walking tour of Gloucester Docks from Gloucester Food Dock

If local culture is more your thing, join a walking tour of the historic Gloucester Docks on Saturday 24 January 2026, in partnership with the Gloucester Civic Trust. Tickets cost £10, with the walk starting from 11am outside Wholly Gelato. To book a spot, email info@gloucesterfooddock.co.uk.

Families can also take advantage of an offer from Chuck Burger, on Saturday 24 January 2026 from 12pm, where kids under 10 eat free – while the younger ones can join in the creativity by decorating their own burger boxes.

And at Mexican eatery Elote, there's a weekday menu special where you can create your own tacos, with a large wooden board containing pots of ingredients – including slow-cooked fillings, cheese, roasted veg, warm sauces and spicy winter salsa – and a pile of tortillas served at your table, with a chance to win a meal for two by uploading a photo of your tacos to Instagram.
