Ultimate Warriors Gloucester offers plenty of obstacles with varying degrees of difficulty, that the whole family can get involved with — as well as providing a unique date opportunity for competitive couples during the site's adult-only sessions, too. Activities include climbing, balancing, swinging, jumping and more.

It's official — Ninja Warrior UK Gloucester will soon be known as 'Ultimate Warriors'.

A new challenge awaits people of all ages across the county when the adrenaline-pumping venue takes on a fresh identity this summer. Ahead of the anticipated relaunch, SoGlos chats to site manager, Lisa White, to find out what thrill-seekers can expect to see when the site reopens.

Why have you decided to step away from the Ninja Warrior franchise?

As a small, independent, family-owned business, the Ninja Warrior UK brand has been a huge part of helping us establish as an indoor leisure facility. After almost six years of welcoming visitors of all ages its time for our next chapter. This will allow us more autonomy to further develop our offering with our visitors and local community in mind.

What inspired the new name?

We’re excited to be evolving in everything we do, particularly our name.

The naming process involved gathering years of feedback from visitors and our fantastic staff before working with incredible local branding experts to create our new identity. We strive to be the best in what we do so the use of the word ‘ultimate’ was the perfect fit.

We also really love the quote ‘where legends begin’ in our logo; we felt it important to capture our intent to cater for all ages and abilities to challenge themselves, whilst having fun.

When are you closing for renovations and for how long?

We will be closing on the afternoon of Sunday 1 June, and with the help of our team and local suppliers/contractors will be back open on Thursday 3 July 2025!

Advance bookings for July onwards will be open from mid-June and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to our newly refurbished venue.

What can people expect from the newly refurbished venue?

Over the past few years, we have been collecting valuable feedback from our visitors, who have told us what they love about our venue as well as their requests for improvements.

With this in mind, the key change is the addition of exciting new equipment to suit a broader range of abilities.

We also have updated party packages, creating great value and experiences for both parents and children, new website and booking process.

What are you most excited for visitors to try out?

Definitely our new equipment, in particular the new racing lanes, slides and inflatable course — I can’t wait to get on them myself!

Will the venue still be suited to all ages or will this differ?

Yes absolutely – even more so! We’ve maintained everything our visitors have loved about our venue as well as creating space for even more features designed around families participating together.

Children and adults of all abilities will have great fun in the obstacle arena as well as offerings for pre-schoolers, adults-only, large groups and children’s birthday parties.

Will there be any special offers upon launch?

Keep an eye out for our hugely popular summer pass, as well as other offers and promotions throughout the year not just for our re-launch such as weekday offers, Blue Light discounts, group discounts and school trips.
