Stacey Flinter and her new smile

Why did you decide to visit NUYU for treatment?
I started my Invisalign journey as I was very unhappy
with my teeth and my confidence wasn’t great due to this, I’d always wanted a
wider smile with straight teeth.
I was unhappy with my teeth before the treatment because I had uneven teeth, I also had a crossover at the front.
I’d been a patient of Naiz for a few years at this point and had always been happy with the treatments he’d provided and I was always made to feel comfortable at appointments.
How did you decide what treatment was best?
We discussed options and Invisalign seemed the obvious choice.
I liked how discreet the treatment is and found that the remote check-ins were convenient for my busy life.
Did you experience any discomfort?
I was pleased with the manageable discomfort and
less intrusive nature compared to traditional braces.
How did you feel once the work was done?
The end result beyond my expectations.
I can’t believe the difference Invisalign has made to
my overall appearance, I’ve really gained back my confidence.
I would tell anyone that is sitting on the fence to go for it, it’s honestly the best decision I’ve made.
A few of my family members and friends decided to go for it after seeing my results and how happy I was, they too are now over the moon with their own results.

How important are trusted relationships in treatments like this?
When a patient has been with you since the start of your dental career, you share more than just appointments, you share a journey.
Stacey has been one of those patients, someone whose oral health I’ve cared for over many years.
From our
first visits together, I knew she took great pride in looking after her teeth
but quietly wished they were in a more even, harmonious position.
How did Stacey decide to go for Invisalign?
Although Stacey’s teeth were healthy, their alignment and shape made cleaning more difficult and created slight functional imbalances over time.
When we discussed
her concerns, we both agreed any treatment should not only make her smile
look more confident but also improve its long-term health and stability.
What was the first step?
The first phase is all about aligning teeth for function and balance.
We began with Invisalign clear aligners, a discreet, comfortable way to reposition her teeth.
But the goal wasn’t purely aesthetic. By correcting the crowding and
improving how her upper and lower teeth met, we created a more favourable bite
that reduced strain on certain teeth and made day-to-day cleaning far easier.
Each aligner brought small, precise movements that gradually reshaped the way her teeth functioned together.
The transformation was subtle but powerful: a more
balanced, stable foundation for her long-term oral health.
Were further enhancements needed?
The second phase of Stacey's treatment was about brightening her smile.
After alignment, we completed professional whitening to lift the natural shade of her teeth.
This step didn’t just enhance the overall look, it highlighted the symmetry we’d achieved and gave the smile a cleaner, more refreshed tone.
It’s
always rewarding to see how such a simple step can elevate confidence and make
a healthy smile truly shine.
How did the treatment end?
The third phase was about refining with composite bonding.
The final touch came from Natalia, who used composite bonding to perfect shape, proportion and surface detail.
This stage was about refinement, adding gentle definition and restoring natural contours where the enamel had worn.
The artistry lies in the precision, blending the composite seamlessly
with natural tooth structure so that the result feels as authentic as it looks.
Were you pleased with the final result?
When all of the work was completed, I was pleased to have delivered a healthy result that boosted Stacey's confidence.
What makes Stacey’s transformation special is that it’s as much about function as appearance.
Her teeth are now in a position that supports even wear, easy maintenance and long-term stability.
The overall aesthetic outcome feels beautifully natural, bright, balanced and completely her own. And the foundation behind it is strong and healthy.
How do you feel about delivering these treatments?
Seeing her new smile come together was incredibly rewarding.
It’s a reminder that modern dentistry isn’t about dramatic change; it’s about creating harmony between health, function, confidence and ensuring the results last for years to come.
