Cheltenham Music Festival returns to the Regency town from Friday 8 to Saturday 16 July 2022 – and SoGlos has teamed up with Cheltenham Festivals to give away tickets to see the Kanneh-Mason Duo open the festival at Pittville Pump Room.
One lucky winner will receive a pair of tickets to the sold-out event on Friday 8 July 2022, where charismatic siblings Sheku and Isata Kanneh-Mason will perform music by Benjamin Britten and the composers who inspired him.
A must-see for any classical music fan, the popular duo has received a number of high-profile accolades, with cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason winning BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2016 and performing at Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s wedding; and pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason winning the 2021 Leonard Bernstein award.
The Kanneh-Masons have become firm festival favourites, with Cheltenham Music Festival being known for bringing a diverse programme of classical music to the town, showcasing world-premieres and the very best new talent in contemporary classical music, alongside centuries-old favourites, in both formal and relaxed settings.
