Cheltenham-based cyber and tech marketing agency, Alice Violet Creative, has launched the second series of its podcast, Cyber Made Human, which aims to make complex cybersecurity topics more accessible.
Hosted by the agency's founder Alice Violet, the popular podcast is back with 12 new episodes planned for 2025, after a successful first series which has garnered more than 60,000 listens to date across 12 episodes on YouTube, Spotify, Amazon and Google Podcasts.
Aimed at business leaders and decision makers, Cyber Made Human sees Alice welcome a range of guests from the world of cyber and tech for engaging conversations about everything from privacy to ethical hacking and digital security, 'cutting through the jargon' to make complex topics feel more human and relatable.
Episodes uncover real-world stories from across the sector, with series one exploring topics from cyber apprenticeships and quantum computing, to child online safety and digital footprints; and series two delving into issues including the ethics of AI, working with government and the next generation of cybersecurity.
Alice Violet said of the podcast: 'Cyber Made Human started as a passion project for me. The goal was to make cyber a more accessible topic for everyone by removing the complex language barrier, which can prove a significant obstacle at times.
'I want to make the industry more accessible to newcomers, but also challenge those within the industry to communicate more inclusively.
'With the launch of series two, we’ve begun to upscale the production process. This is now a commercial asset for the business. It's not just my passion project anymore. We're treating it as a client. So, each of the specialists in the team allocates their own time to it now.'
The podcast format has been given a refresh for the new series with rebranding, shortened episode length and increased posting schedule, along with new social media channels offering exclusive updates and previews.
There are also sponsorship opportunities available for businesses, helping them build brand awareness, expand their reach and engage in topical discussions through business podcasting, with the 'time-intensive and expensive' bit done for them.
New episodes of the podcast are released every three weeks, with the first – an exploration of AI, Silicon Valley culture and start up resilience – available to stream now on all platforms.
