Following a string of sell-out shows and a national Trigger Happy TV 25th anniversary tour, famous Cheltenham resident Dom Joly is bringing his hometown hit SpeakeaZy back in 2026.

Dom Joly's SpeakeaZy returns to The Steam & Whistle on Thursday 15 January, Thursday 5 February and Thursday 5 March 2026 – and tickets are flying already.

After launching in April 2025, the SpeakeaZy quickly became one of Cheltenham's most sought-after nights out, with the last three shows of 2025 selling out in a record 48 hours after tickets went on sale.

Featuring new mystery guests each month, handpicked by Dom himself, coupled with the host sharing hilarious anecdotes from his 30 years in showbusiness, its late night chat show vibe has proved popular with audiences – and has attracted some big names including Jenny Éclair, Seann Walsh, Babybird and even former Cheltenham MP Alex Chalk, alongside up-and-coming acts who Dom is keen to champion, including award-winning local band Saint Senara and one of Elton John's favourite rising stars, Tom A Smith.

With Dom creating this mystery 'cabaret of curiosities' specifically for his hometown audience, its ongoing popularity shows that this kind of event is exactly what Cheltonians were looking for, so he's thrilled to be bringing it back for more dates in 2026.

Dom said: 'Curating this show in my hometown has been an absolute joy. It's a genuine thrill to invite friends, artists and heroes that I love and admire to come and perform.

'I so wanted to add to the town’s already flourishing entertainment scene, and judging by the feedback, we’ve done it!'

And while Dom, aka Grey Squirrel, will never reveal the identity of his mystery guests until they set foot on stage, he has provided SoGlos with an exclusive hint at who's joining him in January – saying sports fans won't want to miss it and should prepare themselves for 'the kind of sports analysis you will never see on TV.'

Tickets to Dom Joly's SpeakeaZy cost £32 each for adults and £22 for students, with 2026 dates on sale now via Dom's official website.
