Dinosaur-loving families won't want to miss the chance to meet a giant Stegosaurus in Gloucester this weekend, thanks to Gloucester BID.

Dino-ROAR Weekend takes place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June 2025, bringing lots of free, dinosaur-themed fun to the city centre.

As well as getting to meet a giant Stegosaurus, there'll also be roaming dinosaurs; dino baby feeding; a How To Train Your Dinosaur live show; a dino trail and crafts to try around Gloucester's Cathedral Quarter.

Completely free to attend, families can enjoy entertainment all weekend long, as well as plenty of photo opportunities with their favourite Jurassic creatures, in what Gloucester BID is calling an 'unforgettable city centre adventure'.

The event, in collaboration with RentaDinosaur, is part of Gloucester BID's efforts to attract visitors to the city with fun, free events.

Gloucester BID's marketing and business engagement lead, Claire Knight, said: 'We’re incredibly excited to bring Dino-ROAR Weekend to Gloucester. It’s a great opportunity to animate Kings Square, support local businesses and give families a chance to experience something truly magical.'

The free Dino-ROAR Weekend is at Kings Square in Gloucester on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June 2025.
