Perfect for keeping your busy little bees entertained this May half term, Cotswold Farm Park launches its Bee Wild Week for 2025.
The award-winning farm park near Guiting Power will be buzzing with beasties of all shapes, sizes, wing spans and legs, as kids big and small can meet bugs, learn all about beekeeping, feed cute four-legged friends and win prizes throughout the week.
As part of Bee Wild Week, little ones have the chance to meet the farm park's beekeeper and see the resident worker bees busy in their hives.
So not to disturb the bees while they work, the farm park has an observation hive in its peaceful Conservation Area, where families can gather round with their inside voices and watch them live in action.
There's also Bug Hour happening daily from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, where kids can see and touch insects of all different species, including millipedes, centipedes and spiders.
And for brave entomophiles who fancy their chances of winning a prize, there's the Mystery Touch & Feel box, where, in the style of I'm A Celeb, visitors put their hands into the box and feel around to try and correctly guess which insects lurk inside (spoiler: they aren't real!).
Over in the barn, there's bottle feeding at 11.30am and 3.30pm each day, where staff hand out bottles of milk for eager animal lovers to feed to lambs and goats — watch your fingers as the hungry babies drain their bottles at top speeds!
There are also tractor rides around the farm throughout the day and sand art over at the Pollinator Patch, too.
Tickets to Cotswold Farm Park are available to book online in advance and cost £19 for adults; £17 for children aged between four and 15; and £15 for toddlers aged two and three. Babies aged one and under cost just £1. When purchased on the day, each ticket is £2 extra.
