Once one of Gloucestershire's longest-running family attractions, Prinknash Bird and Deer Park in Cranham closed its doors for good in September 2019 after 45 years in business.
No official reason was given for the closure but it came unexpectedly after the park revealed it had sold off its iconic two-storey, mock-Tudor Wendy house.
However, earlier this year, a new Facebook profile for the park popped up, with just a single logo posted and no new information.
SoGlos has been monitoring the profile for the past seven months and can now report that Prinknash Bird and Deer Park will officially reopen on Saturday 1 November 2025.
Announcing its reopening exclusively on Facebook, the park team said that it has 'been working relentlessly over the past six months, come rain or shine, to get the park back to her former beauty.'
The park has new management and new animals, with a picnic area for visitors and a brand-new children's play area still under construction, with final adjustments being made for the grand reopening.
Visitors can expect reindeer, geese, chickens and donkeys, among other animals at the park.
While Prinknash officially opens its doors on Saturday 1 November, the park is soft launching a pre-opening week during half term, but tickets are only available for purchase in-person from Upton Coffee House in Upton St Leonards village.
Contact details and a new website have yet to be officially announced but ticket prices on the door have been revealed as £15.95 for adults, £10.95 for children aged four to 16, £5.95 for toddlers aged one to four, with babies one and under going free.
The park has stated that season and family tickets will be available at a later date.
