The Grape Escape on Regent Street in Cheltenham officially has the best value wine list in the world.

The independently run wine bar beat competition from Brisbane, Colorado and Johannesburg to take the top spot in The World of Fine Wine's World's Best Wine Lists.

Owners Ant Davies and Zoe Fisher attended the 'swanky bash at the Savoy' in London alongside some of the world's top luxury hotels, restaurants and bars, truly putting Cheltenham on the map when it comes to wine.

The Grape Escape's wine list was also awarded three stars – the highest possible ranking – joining only 25 establishments in the UK to have a one, two or three-star rating from The World of Fine Wine's World's Best Wine Lists.

The wine bar celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025, making the accolade 'even more special', with Ant and Zoe saying the achievement is 'beyond our wildest expectation!'

If you fancy getting a taste of the world's best value wine list, The Grape Escape is open from 5pm to 11pm Thursday to Saturday and 2pm to 8pm Sunday on Regent Street in Cheltenham town centre.
